  • Anyone using one? I've been sent one so the local council can see what agro I encounter on my commutes... Will it tell them much or is the tech too new?

  • I have the front and rear but live in a small town, so our council won't be involved in this.
Sounds good in principle, but will the council actually use the data to make improvements?

    Cracking be seen lights though.

  • I'm not sure where in the council will get this info & what it'll actually inform.

    Cracking be seen lights though.

    This is great to hear!

  • A few days use in, this light is good. The app is useful for battery level check. It'd be ace if I could also view the insight it has sent to the council, with geo-tags for the where on each.

  • I got one today, also from my council, albeit in a slightly roundabout way.

They paid my girlfriend (me) £80 to put a GPS tracker on my old MTB and ride it around.

And I got the light at the end. I've only got as far as putting it on charge so far.

    Any top tips?

  • Our project has finished and it's hard to see full heatmaps. Impossible to view personal data. From extracts, the heatmap look very cool - not just who went were, but also how bumpy the rd surface is, or how much swerving folks did.

The real voodoo shit (perhaps) is that some of my commute route options I vary through have very rough roads in places which are now being resurfaced. Coincidence?

The app isn't great. I haven't used the crash/ theft alerts feature. I have to "forget" then "find" the light to reconnect mostly. Useful to check battery level.

The lights is very bright & has a good battery life.

  • I got the see sense icon 2 today. I’ve had a pair of the icon plus since they came out and I’m very pleased with them, especially as daytime lights.
I was tempted by the new one as it is extraordinarily bright. And it is. An absolutely stupendous output which in bright sunshine still stands out.
My council has no intention of using any of the data from the Ace, so I just want bonkers daytime light. And now I have it!
