That's about the only thing that's really raised my spirits about Liverpool winning the Champions League.
I think I cared more about the league, and by the time it got to Spurs in the final, the only two outcomes were win it (acceptable), or lose to Spurs (the shame!). Not sure the 3 week break helped much, it was a shit match.

Just noticed that there have been just over 150k posts in this thread but 3 million views. That is, if my sums are right, 20 views per post.

This either means that:

a. There are a lot of lurkers.
b. We all contemplate responses, looking back at previous comments and consider our replies.
c. Everyone who has posted keeps looking back in the hope that someone has responded without realising that this can be seen without actually entering the thread.
d. There is a bug in the system.
e. No one cares.

f. Everyone else has, like me, to go back multiple times in order to recheck and fix typos.

g. Search engines

h. We're all just waiting until the subject comes back around to Liverpool

i. There are more than 20 posts by other people that I check on (individually) before I post something. On average.

j. Ross McCormack.

K. Lots of old folk who barely remember what day it is let alone what the topic of conversation is.

If in doubt its probably Liverpool

Ha! I'll bite... I can't remember who you support but I'll say this again... I think the Chelsea on here are amongst the more level headed of the assembled plastics... Clive excepted, who has a very fizzy cock for a septuagenarian and actually goes to actual football matches in an actual footballing stadium... Unlike the Spuds and Kopites, who make this thread the mine of 'lack of self awareness' comedy that it is... Top lelz...
