Maybe I'll give it a go when I have a full day at home when I could keep an eye on her. I had 1 similar experience with removing the litter tray few months back when I needed to take an urine sample of her so I needed to put down some special litter and she actually held off for a whole 24 hours when she could have gone out, but then it was the winter, so I don't know.
That black cat only really takes after his owners really... I don't want to talk about him other than I really wouldn't mind if he were to move elsewhere.
I have been tempted to do this, but she’s always had a litter tray just in case and before the black cat arrived a year ago, she’d only ever use it when the weather was really bad etc, now there is a very real practical reason to have a litter tray because the black cat is always hiding just outside the garden door waiting. That fucking little git!
