Damn! I thought I'd hit the jackpot.
I thought about buying a pair but they are only available in my size via store collection from somewhere in the midlands so not going to happen.
My cheap Sports Direct trail runners were a bit of a revelation on a 45 min x 2 commute yesterday. Very comfortable and with a stiffer sole than the 5-10s. Grip was no problem. I actually preferred them to the 5-10s. The problem with them, though, is that they have slightly chunky heels so I would need to put my saddle up a bit for them. So I'll look for something else with zero or close to zero heel drop.
The Acros look like they would tick that box - although not ideal for Balkans if you say they run a bit warm.
@platypus - what are the Innov8s like for heel drop? I want flat as possible.
