Photo Books - Recommendations

I've been making photo albums each year, using photobox and generally I've been impressed.

This year I want to do a few smaller format books, really high quality and one larger book.

Any recommendations of suppliers, who's best for quality and who has a good interface for layouts?

You could download a trial of InDesign to layout yourself and send to Blurb...

Is InDesign the best option for laying out stuff like photo books? I've got access to an adobe CC account but never downloaded indesign.

It’s the industry standard for publishing... it’s pretty easy to get the hang of - you could learn it well enough with a couple of hours of YouTube and poking around.

Digging this thread out again. If anyone is looking to print a book, we recently had our wedding album done with DS Colour Labs - https://dscolourlabs.co.uk/ . Very impressed with the quality. Colours came out 'right', tones were really nice, and their binding means you can view a picture across the book's seam. Also had good guidance on their website to prepare the pics & album.
