My worry with Donncha is always that he will get really fit, go off too fast and wreck himself.
I can see one possible point of failure:
"My friend and fellow ultra cyclist Ryan Flinn from Curve cycling and Jordan Addison from Giro Cycles in Esher, UK are building a suitable bike for me" - bike built by one guy in Melbourne and another in Surrey...230-40 miles per day is 370-85 km - big ask

I hope his plans come together and he gets to ride. Forgetting the record for a second it's an epic undertaking and would be amazing!
