If they hadn’t persisted with the tacky polished centre links on the oyster bracelet I’d be all over it instead of an OP.

I didn't. Does that actually look alright? Not sure if it would then look weird with the polished tops of the lugs, etc.

I’d take a design cue from vintage DJ models. Brush the oyster bracelet center links and the case lugs, match this to a polished smooth bezel. All this mirror polishing on watches makes no sense to me, it just looks blingy and shows up fingerprints and scratches
