Doesn't really warrant it's own thread, but I picked up this balance bike for £1 at a boot sale. Had planned to pick up a metal one at some point, but a quid and the cost of replacement bearings seemed too cheap to pass up.
The seller said the rear needed to be "tightened up"? Lol... there's no bearing on the drive side.
Gave it a quick clean and now I need to find the appropriate replacement bearings for the rear wheel. Although I think I may as well replace them all.
Other upgrades/making it a bit less princessie:
pump / repair inner tubes
recover the saddle with black vinyl
swap grips for some neon green ones (or black if I can't find any green)
remove the flowers
look for some cool decals / stickers
see if I can upgrade the nylon spacers for readily available metal ones.
If anyone can suggest appropriate grips it'd be appreciated.
