Inov8 trail running shoes
A flat pedal you like - Oneup/Hope/Superstar/DMR/whoever -
What pedals and shoes would you guys recommend? The long term plan is to ride multi-day rides/races.
If you have road shoes from Brand Whatever try their MTB shoes with whatever SPD pedal fits your budget. I'm a big fan of the XT trail pedal but even a single sided pedal like A520 might do.

Also looking for pedals and show recommendations but clipless... Are egg beaters any good? Kinda like the look of them.

Big fan of giro shoes.. have taken the Privateers through many a storm, river and my last pair did many thousands of miles before I changed for a new pair.
Shimano m530 would be recommendation, or the XT versions if you want them to look a little smarter / lighter

Pulled the trigger and ordered a Canyon Grail. I know nothing about off-roading and these questions have probably been answered already (but this thread is 328 pages). What pedals and shoes would you guys recommend? The long term plan is to ride multi-day rides/races.
