Yeah drainage bars are death.

Everything was made hard by the fact I've never ridden a mtb before!

I hear wide rims are the thing, around 30mm.

35mm, 2.4 or even 2.6 tyres.

I run Maxxis XO TR casings, more money, but have yet to tear/flat one and I mostly ride very very flinty trails around here.

yeah getting 2.4 wtb ranger
and getting a wider dt swiss rim

out there learning the lessons!
Also didn't carry spare tubles value core! duh
