I use these periodically to get rid of them. Work way better than the less aggressive options

Apparently the active ingredient in that is lethal to cats.

Very possibly. It comes with rubber gloves and a face mask.

Do you have a link for proof? We have moths, and a cat, and so far have contained the problem by spraying moth killer spray around the affected areas.
Edit: Just want to be informed before trying anything stronger.
