Why doesn’t anyone make a camera with atleast an 8 hour battery life?
I need atleast 6 hours battery life. Don’t want to have multiple batteries to swap because I know I will forget.

I've never had any problems with VLC on my Mac. I usually download the video first though.

This is what I use for cropping videos http://fixounet.free.fr/avidemux/
It's really simple to use for basic cropping and copes with pretty much all files I've tried (slight issue with WMV files that you have to transcode the audio for some reason).

Cheers all, will give those suggestions a try. Hippy I did try that videopad programme but the video was so jumpy it was impossible to use - will try again, might just be my shitty old computer.

Do you have iMovie installed on there? That's what I tend to use and it works well enough. If you can access the file on the camera when it is plugged in you can drag and drop the video on to your desktop and then in to the project (might be able to drag straight to the project), trim by dragging the clip to the length that you would like and then export using the button on the top right (I think) and save it to file. From there you can use the edited clip how you wish.

Ofcourse none of the Apeman amazon sellers post to my country. Any other alternatives? For that price I can't not buy a camera.
Edit: seems the yi action camera is pretty decent around the same price?

Why doesn’t anyone make anything with at least a 24 hour battery?
Been asking myself that for years :)

Did you export it as an AVI? I think it defaults to mp4 or something. I found that to be glitchy so I export to AVI instead (which matches the original format).

You're welcome.
It's really strippped back colour grading software but works very well as a little editing and converting tool.

Apeman camera - the mounts provided are baffling and shit. How has anyone gone about attaching one of these to a bike?
-
• #889
No, just buy some CNC machined ones from eBay.

What resolution are people using on the Apeman A77? I’ve gone between 1080P at 60fps and the 4K 25fps. Doesn’t seem to be much in it in terms of quality.
Also does anyone else have a really bad rattle from the top button?

I've had enough of shit drivers, especially commercial "professional" ones. Ideally would like a front and rear one...what should I be looking for?

Any decent cheap action cam on amazon will do.

Cheers! This is particularly timely seeing as the one that I bought just self destructed.
Now all I need is a new waterproof apeman box thing because that also broke on me like a coward.

There's a trick to opening them.

Bought Apeman A77 cam 4k upgraded yada yada model, bought extra Apeman batteries since battery life does not go beyond 55mins on each - commute is 2 hours.
Some months after purchase, the batteries are dying out at around 25 mins. Is this to be expected? Anyone had similar problems to me....? Shall I complain to seller?

Buy cheap, buy twice.
Not helpful but probably applicable.
