Saw both casualties, one crash happened just before we descended and was on his back at the bottom of the descent with a taco’d wheel and the other was sitting with his arm in a sling at the gate across the road. Both seemed in good spirits when we continued.

Was awful weather for standing around distributing water: few people actually needed it. I have 20 x 2L bottles still sealed.
On the other hand, only 2 crashes resulted in rescues, both on the same hill after the first hillfort, so I took the bikes while one went with a paramedic to Dorchester and the other waited for a car as I'd run out of seats. A third casualty took himself to hospital.
