Haha yeah I'll take some! Do you know if we can jump on any train from Padding to Maidenhead on Friday evening or do i need to book a bike slot?

Depends on the time doesn't it? If it's outside peak hours you should just be able to rock onto it.

from 7pm, seems to be okay as long as it isn't some kind of high-speed service? looking at the timetable, they all seem to be fine.

Jump on any local train, not the intercity ones, but they rarely if ever stop at Maidenhead anyway. Local ones are mostly on the right hand side of the station, platforms 8-14
