The Everest film left lots out too. Sandy Pittman having sex at Base Camp may have angered the Mountain Gods, the sherpas felt, and the discipline among the team was all over the place. Bloated CVs, fights and quarrels among the team, sherpas not following orders, people climbing alone. The South Africans refused to allow the searchers to use their radio. Then near the summit Beck Weather's hand was so cold he went to warm it inside his suit and his glove blew away.

Found a condensed version last night, 45mins. Far too short to tell the story, but I saw the ice fall thing where he has a word with some plonked. I’d be fuming too. Having to wait for someone who hasn’t done their homework at the top of Everest is just nuts.
