Had a blast in the Cotswolds last weekend, some of the greenest and most quiet cycle touring we've ever done in England .

Started in Moreton-in-Marsh and explored some villages and other landmarks, particularly liking Upper Slaughter and Chedworth, where we stopped for the first night. The following day we made it to Painswick and stopped there due to the shite weather, which in turn gave us a chance to appreciate Sheepscombe, the prettiest village we crossed.
The third day we rode through some nice valleys and across some hills before making it to Bath which resembled Disneyland by stark contrast with the solitude and remote feeling we had for the previous 3 days.

Nice! Glad you had a good trip. Good call on avoiding some of the Cotswold Way, even when it was only a bit damp from dew, some of that mud makes you 6inches taller within 10 paces.
