Have you read the AUK pdf 'UK Organiser's Handbook'? If you don't have it I'd email Pat at audax.events.se.team@gmail.com to send you one plus they're really helpful in general.
I wouldn't mind doing it at some point, but it does sound like a bit of a journey. You need a audax mentor to start with, then can only do 'Level 1' (up to 200k) for your first one. Which is sensible, I guess.
Normally I think if you're not looking at an overcrowded event area, just plan something locally based that you enjoy riding and showcases the area, and enter it up as a new event. I guess London isn't as crowded as some areas so a brand new route might be fine.
I'd like to organise an Audax in 2020. A London departing 200 AAA.
Any tips from anyone?
