With a field of competitors so desperately poor, it's not difficult to stand out. But, that said, he does seem to be on an entirely different level, and comes across as relatively thoughtful, intelligent, measured, honest, etc. And it's refreshing to see someone engage in a converation when interviewed (rather than rely on vacuous soundbites). I don't know much about his political views, other than the fact he's committed to Brexit. However, none of that really matters, as I can't see the members voting for him given how much they all love Johnson.

Overheard some people discussing Rory Stewart as "more intelligence/integrity than your average politician". What opinions? (Other than the obvious - he's still a Tory.)
