  • Technically not a current project as it's on the road, but since I've built it up mainly with bits off my previous Scott road bike, I see it more as a beginning rather than an end. Hopefully next year will present enough funds to fit some more suitable bits, until then here it is:

  • New back wheel built and fitted. Halo Aerorage rim, Ambrosio Zenith Endurance hub, DT Swiss spokes.

    Seems to work alright.
Looking at the picture, the rear brake cable looks a bit on the short side, may have to see to that.

  • What has happened to post pics on this site?
    I'll do it this way:

  • Can anyone suggest a grooved dropped handlebar with a 26mm centre section diameter? At the moment Deda Piega seems the most likely option but not sure I want black.

  • Good call, especially as I need to buy a couple of things from SJS anyway (no free p&p with them I think).

  • still for sale? what size has the frame?

  • It was never for sale (well not since Hilary Stone sold it to me anyway) and it never will be; it is a thing of joy, except when I'm time-trialling on it, when it becomes an instrument of torture.
