Hello: is there a reliable way to work out the approximate size of an inflated tire with just the rim width and manufacturer’s spec?
I have a touring frame (+ 700c wheels) that I’d like to try 40c Marathon Supremes on and it’s going to be tight, but might be doable. Thanks...
also, bare in mind that 40c is different for different manufactures.
yes! Plus I assumed that a Marathon Supreme 40c would present differently to a knobbly tire of the ‘same’ size too. At £20 per... they’re a bargain, but it’s a bit too much to just take a punt on.
