Yes all the newer ones have walk assist. Goes 5kph and if you shift into 1st gear before going into that mode it has enough torque to climb anything. Have twice got mine out of super steep boggy moorland whilst moderately loaded.
Even if you can't find an eBullitt to try out find a local mtb shop that has shimano steps so you can try the system out.

e-bullitt owners/sellers, is there a walk assist option on the newer models? I'm thinking of splurging but have a narrow winding mildly-uphill path to my house and wondering if it's going to be a mare the first/last 25 meters of every trip.
Also, those of you who insure their cargo bikes, did you add under your existing house insurance or get specific bike insurance? Thanks :)
