    For the business use I'd imagine it'd be closer to £38 than £18.
    £38 x 12 = £456 which is the number I was quoted.

    They want to promote cycling, reduce congestion, improve air quality then they charge you more than a car for insurance.

    Makes no sense but makes them money!

    I will keep taking the risk and have no insurance against theft (I already have personal insurance via British Cycling and goods in transit with my business insurance).

  • With Laka the amount you pay month to month varies depending on the claims of the group members with a cap at the 38. i.e. the avg you would pay is 18.

    Here is what they say for business use.

    "Yes– we love people who use their bikes for work, including our cargo bikers and couriers!
    But we can’t cover you whilst you're working the USA or Canada and any other countries operating under US / CAN jurisdiction or law."
