  • should i vote tomorrow, if so how? thanks

  • yes, ideally Green, or a remain party, but go full on Brexit Party if you prefer.

  • Get new hook and loop sewn on. You could use snap fasteners or some other popper but it stops being so adjustable.

  • Flip a coin.

    (Vote green)

  • should i vote tomorrow, if so how?

Yes, and by placing an X next to the party whose policies most closely match your preference.

  • Which SPD shoes do I get when I have high foot arches and a semi high instep?

I have looked at the Giro Privateer R High Volume shoe, but not sure if that takes care of the semi high instep?

  • Anyone have ridde a fressfit ebb(aftermarket, not built into the shell)fixed?

  • I don't know about the instep but Giro shoes come with inner soles that have 3 different arch inserts

  • bulgarianparadise* on Ebay has very price worthy merino socks

    *Not a joke

  • How do they come up size-wise? The pictures say 42-44, is that what you receive? Think they may be a little too large for me

  • I own one of these Genesis Equilibrium 725 rim brakes and would quite like to be able to load panniers on the front for touring purposes, what would be the best compatible steel fork I could get?

  • Literally the same set up @Klar has

  • They shrink somewhat, but I'm a 44 and they work well for me after shrinking.
Beware that I think that they might bleed some colour that might show when washed with whites

  • @spotter Thank you!

@amey Such a good / no fuss bike

  • I can vouch for the combo. I don’t bother with a carbon fork-no need.

  • Royce sell an ‘anti shake’ thread prep that’s allegedly grease-compatible. It’s red. Comes in Teeny Tiny bottle and he charges a bomb. It’s a plain bottle with his sticker on it. It’s bound to be cheap really but he charges a bomb. Of course. It stops one of his (basically a bit shit) BB designs (floating, double lockring) from creaking.

It worked for quite some time. All good. The expensive thread prep is gone.

Does anyone know which type of prep it could be? Loctite 243 is oil-tolerant but comes blue. Finding getting clear info on threadlocks hard to compare.

    Ta

  • I actually just checked your thread and our setups are super similar as I've also got Thomson finishing kit and Deda RHM02 bars on mine!

  • Hello: is there a reliable way to work out the approximate size of an inflated tire with just the rim width and manufacturer’s spec?

I have a touring frame (+ 700c wheels) that I’d like to try 40c Marathon Supremes on and it’s going to be tight, but might be doable. Thanks...

  • also, bare in mind that 40c is different for different manufactures.

  • yes! Plus I assumed that a Marathon Supreme 40c would present differently to a knobbly tire of the ‘same’ size too.
At £20 per... they’re a bargain, but it’s a bit too much to just take a punt on.

  • Loctite 272? Only says tolerant of slight contamination and is high strength though...

  • After a v disappointing experience with Mercian, back looking for an otp audax style frame. 28c with guards kind of thing, Rim brake or disk ok, plenty braze ons, nice tubing, 54cm.

Best candidates ATM? Saw a second hand Enigma Ti that almost tempted me too but steel still winning out.

  • What happened with Mercian? I was disappointed years ago as well, though the blame was equally shared by me.
    Polyvalent?
    Bob Jackson?
    Toussaint?
    Jitensha?
    Ribble?
    Thorn?
    Soma?
    Surly?
