Surly fork?

I wonder how many hours in my life I've dedicated to thinking about the different forks you can/should put on a Pompino...

Here is a close up of the fork.
I can't find one in google that has the same crown. The search continues!
Here is the bike on pedalroom if anyone's interested.

reminds me, evans appear to be using a pompino to advertise their cycle to work scheme (don't know if this has been spotted before).

That looks like Jon Dennis, whose forum name I can't remember.

I’m now using a Steamroller fork on mine. Felt the crosscheck fork was a bit long and it started flexing rather frightingly under heavy use of the front brake recently so changed to this.

Still a work in progress - need to get a rear rack and rear longboard put on, and a longer and lower stem and narrower bars.
But I love this bike, very happy with it (especially after the last few pages of discussion about pomps with discs and segmented forks haha).
Think I might get rid of the surly decals though, not sure how I feel about it being labelled something it's not, and it might make it more attractive to thieves I think.

I‘ve just bought a Pompino frame and am now looking for wheels. Are there any off the shelf options for 120mm + wider rim for 35’s? Or is having my own wheels built the way to go?
p.s. I‘m also looking for second hand options, in case anyone wants to sell theirs.

I'm not aware any OTP wider fixed/flipflop wheel sets. I went for DT R460 to any old hubs. Pretty cheap to build up yourself.
Ah all good. Well they're just hanging in the workshop should you need a set in a hurry.
For sure, I'm up in Thornbury when I'm in Melbourne. Not on fixed.org.au, I just lurk on this forum from across the world instead ;)
