This also advocates voting Change UK in London.
-
• #21253
This feel dubious, is Change UK behind it?

That Farage milkshake on a bus thing was 3 people sitting by the side with frappucinos worth no intention of throwing anything. They were civil with reporters apparently. And Nigel apparently wasn't due to get off at that place anyway but then did a short while after
The Fucking Scum reports it as rnige being surrounded.

Hi 5!

For the first time in a long time I'm awake on voting day and still haven't fully decided who I'm going to vote for.
Stick with labour or twist for someone more pro-EU?
I'll never vote lib dem, my gut feeling is don't trust change UK, have always felt the greens are a bit of a joke (when thinking about GE's) but maybe they'll be good in Europe? -
• #21261
If you are in favour of the EU and won’t vote LD then Green is the logical vote I would think.

• #21262
Ask yourself "who is best positioned to begin the work of dismantling the overarching cause of this shitshow, namely austerity" and work backwards from there?
-
• #21264
The thing is, it's a damning indictment of society that the greens are seen as a joke. They're the only ones focussed on our biggest problems. You know, the ones that will either kill or us lead us to Brexit and other issues. Their candidates are well above average intelligence and integrity for politicians too.
In a rational world, everybody would be voting for the Greens.

I've never voted green.

Greenhell - difficult, kind of none of them but I'd guess labour given they are the nearest to a position of power in order to be capable. And outside of the Europe debate they seem more up for a better society.
DJ - coming out resoundingly green for me.
Stonehenge - I know. I agree with a lot of what they say but there's something just not right there.
Ideally I'd just like labour to be pro-EU but it's a bit late for that now.
Maybe greens today & hope labour sort themselves out in time for the next GE.

Greens for me
(The irony of having eaten a beef burger and booked a long haul flight the night before is not lost on me)
-
• #21268
For the first 5 mins of voting this morning my polling station was 100%♻️

Voted! Greens for me but NI has a transfer vote system. Otherwise I'd vote strategically. I really want Labour to swing to remain and win next GE.
At Belfast airport...it's full of adverts of how the UK is great for exporting 🙄

If this forum is anything to go by a lot of people will be voting Green today. Including me.
It isn't of course in the bigger picture of things, but I know enough people who are voting Green for the first time today to believe there will be a decent swing their way. If now isn't their time I don't know when will be, so if you believe in their policies you know what to do...

I can’t even consider voting for a party that isn’t unambiguously Remain in the current climate, and that sadly isn’t Labour, despite being a party member. I’ll be voting Green.

The last time I owned a car, it was 1992.
I've not been on a plane since 2012.
I'm a life-long Labour voter.
Not today tho. -
• #21273
I’m voting Green (in about 10 mins).
-
• #21274
I've never owned a car.
Haven't been on a plane since 1982.
I compost my own night sweats.
Labour. -
• #21275
Not much point not owning a car or never flying if you vote for a party that backs new coal mines*.
Just sayin'
