What length Shimano BB do I need with the Record cranks
You need the Record BB. Check with somebody who speaks Campag for the length, they had a change of mind around that era and briefly made cranks to fit a 102mm axle rather than the 111mm they went back to before dropping square taper in favour of UT. If you must go Asian, the Token/Tifosi units offer a cheap reliable cartridge BB in either fitment.

Neat. Looking forward to see the builds.
@t0-ster <3
Got my 29er back from paint (<3 NATO drab olive), after having a under DT triple boss cargo cage mount added by the mighty metalwork mage @Hulsroy
I've almost finished the build for pictures, I just need to add my new Jones'a'like loop bars. At some point I will sort some bouncy forks, risers and a dropper.
I also got a little side project I've been doing in my unemployment. I bought a 853 Lemond Buenos Aires last year, started life like this:
And I just got it back from the painters, I have had it shot-blasted and clear-coated:
Sunset made it look darker than it is, this is a better colour comparison:
Nice little details
The frame and the new True Temper Alpha Q forks weigh 2.2kg, which is respectable, and clears 28c.
I'm planning on building it up in a retro modern style with a mixed 10 spd Campagnolo groupset, à la the great @gaston. What length Shimano BB do I need with the Record cranks being a different taper?
I needs some wheels next, a headset (silver?) and a flite...
