^I'm not a fan, but I've tried most of their line. Ranks below the other Irish whiskies for me, Green Spot and Red Breast being better. If you like the sweetness of Teeling, try Red Breast Lustau. Or if you want to go cheaper, Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition.
The Black Barrel is tasty (and an interesting flavour comparison to Jameson's plain stuff) but its price puts it into a very competitive field. I've never bought a bottle (just had a few tastings) but it seems to go for £30-£38, and that's Green Spot/Redbreast territory.
