But but it's shiny and £8 delivered from China, what could possibly go wrong

A friend of mine threw out an HT2 bottom bracket immediately after trying to install it. Unsure what the exact issue was, but was not up to spec.

Ha. - Not that shiny - you can't even see it anyway!
If you're on a budget the un-26 from any UK seller is adequate and ships in significantly less than 4-6 weeks. If you buy the wrong one, or the wrong one is in the box, you can also return it for a full refund with no silly games.
I've said it before, but if you're buying from china the saving has got to be significant to be worth it. The risk of the wrong thing turning up, and trying to communicate with someone on the other side of the world who may well know nothing about bikes as their shop also stocks travel adaptors and lingerie, is too high for a couple of quid saving on a BB of unknown provenance.

I received a farsports wheelset this week, I asked them if they could do UD glossy finish which is not usually available when ordering. Two weeks production time, looks nice

If I was looking for a 1 1/8" straight steerer full carbon road fork is there anything anyone would particularly recommend or steer me away from? A small crown area to go nicely with a steel frame (like Columbus Minimal) would be good but not essential.

5 mm rake won't kill you :) How much is the carbonda fork?
-
• #7863
Head tube angle is 72.5 so wasn't sure how the 50mm one would feel.
They quoted:
Fork $85
Axle: $15
Shipping$ 35
Total: $135 -

Quanto costa?

Circa 100 sterling. Wasn't that exact fork though. They don't have the same one I've got now.
They were happy to add mid for mudguard mounts for me. They may possibly do cage mounts if you ask real nice -

love the frame colour - what is it?
The store I bought mine from has transitioned into a leather goods store and don't carry cycling sunglasses anymore. But any of them in the $15-20 range should be fine, I think. These are probably good:

Same store @swedeee bought his Sutros (or is that plural with an apostrophe like Sutro's?) and all sorts of gaudy prints and colour combinations.
