Yeah, I remember that. No-one has ever really stood up to Boeing like that before and they didn’t really know what to do. Lauda really did shake them up when he said he’d take a 767 up and test it, because they knew it was impossible. Top man.
Also, Boeing really are dodgy cunts, from financing the lobby against Concorde to the latest 737 Max 8 fiasco.
