Seriously giving this Nordest a thought for comfy commuting, all round town dad-bike and an occasional packing trip. Other than quite pricey for 4130 and slack-ish geo can't seem to fault it.

Is a really nice design. Nothing wrong with 4130.
I'd certainly have one over a Surly, any day.

If you don't need the extreme tire clearance the Albarda frame is 200 cheaper, still takes up to 2.1/50c tires.
