Ran the Sydney Half yesterday - my first race (excluding one park run). I managed to get 1 hour 31 minutes which I’m very very pleased about. Annoyingly, by bloody Apple Watch said I was 2km short the entire race meaning I sort of lost morale when I thought I wasn’t go to hit my target. I also had a fair amount of reserve energy at the end. Oh well, still very happy with my time.
Also, is it common to see at races everyone at the start line throwing their jumpers in the bin?
