Regarding paint - why not just leave it as is?
I think the OD fork looks great with the raw frame.

Because then it'll be scrap in a couple of years

It’s currently got a very thin lacquer.

I need to touch a file on the dropouts a wee bit to finish them and I don’t want to faff in a few years..

As phildas says, rust never sleeps. I want a powder coat.

Thoughts on the 32mm Ultrasports? Been waiting for these to come into work to try a set.

I used to sell a heap of the grand sports at £30 each, customers loved them. I’m a big fan.

Front wheel. - ended up using a r460 as it made sense with the other one having a few knocks and the mrs wanting it for a project

Changed paint to black, ordered Sparta fork.

Norco forks are ace, but not happy with the light mounting options! - happy to move them on if someone fancies, otherwise I’ll keep them for another project!
