I've booked a cheap room near the start of Ben Allen Tour for this Friday because 1) I didn't know a hall would be available when I booked it and 2) I want to get some good sleep to give myself the best chance of finishing these rides without too much hard work / suffering so I can back it up 4 weeks in a row and then get to TransPyrenees without being totally ruined.
I've 'slept' in the hall before my last two rides cheap room is definitely more optimal for actual sleep. Someone was snoring so loud this weekend I could still hear them through earplugs!
