@ThePeginator that's kind of along the lines of what I've been looking at, although my only luck in finding one has come in the form of chinese full carbon forks and I'm just not sure whether running a chinese carbon steerer on a gravel/cross bike is safe in the long term?
Currently using a Surly Troll fork which looks and is great functionally, but the bike weighs 13.5 kilos so I'm trying to make it lighter.
You could get a 26” mtb rigid fork, problem might be A-C, most are around 425-440mm, most gravel forks are 390-400.
There can’t be many (or any?) straight steerer carbon ‘gravel’ type forks.
