For Sale: 1988 Maffioletti Pista 58cm
Really love this bike, but the time has just come for a new owner.
It was built up with carefully selected components, and I am selling two forks (the original, and a Columbus chrome fork drilled for a brake) for both track or road use. Spec as follows:
Frame and Forks - Maffioletti (of Bergamo) Pista - Columbus SL Tubing - 58cm C-C, 57cm top tube - Original Italian flag paint job. A few nicks in paintwork but otherwise still beautiful and still a classic.
Chainset - Campagnolo Pista - 170 arms and 48t ring. Usual trouser rub. Nothing too bad.
Wheels - Campagnolo Record Pista large flange hubs (100mm front, 120mm rear) laced to Mavic CXP33 clinchers, 28h. Nice wheelset, excellent condition – comes with Miche 15t and 14t track sprockets. Only the front has seen very light brake use.
Headset - Tange Seiki Levin No. NL500
Stem - 3TTT 130mm quill stem
Seatpost - Campagnolo Chorus Aero with engraved shield - 27.2mm 155mm rails
Bars - Bianchi Pista 40cm
Tape - A snazzy luminous green
Chain - Izumi 1/8 Standard Track Silver
Saddle - Selle Italia Max Flite Gel Flow
Tyres - Continental Grand Prix 4 Season Front, Continental Gatorskin Rear - Loads of miles left in both.
For road use: I will include a fitting Columbus Cromor chrome fork drilled for a brake, with Campagnolo Centaur brake calliper (rear included too so you have the pair) and Condor lever.
