On a minivelo thing there's also the orbea katu, which I find myself attracted to. Supposedly has space for 2.25 inch tyres with mudguards (that's what it's specced with at least)

It is pretty 'ugly' but it is also £630 with dynamo lighting.

That Orbea is an excellent bike, even the rims brake version is really well priced.

Yeah but Amery has got me thinking I should buy the velo orange because it looks slightly better and has..... 0.5 inch more tyre clearance? And I guess fork mounts? For cargo cages?

If the orbea goes on sale this winter it would be a no brainer though.
