Got a Salsa Casseroll for sale which ticks all your boxes apart from canti studs, but I have some long drop brakes I can throw in. I’ve had 32mm tyres under guards on it with those, no problem.
Nice ride, not too racey . They call it road geometry rather than road race, built for all day riding.

I did spot that and it's very tempting. I'm concerned that it's not quite big enough though. How tall are you and what was the fit like?

Sent you a PM with some info which may help

PM being Teresa May? I hope that was an intended pun?

It would be an uncomfortable ride.

And possibly fall apart.

Possibly? Guaranteed surely?
After the untimely failure of the dropout on my daily commuter/loadlugger I'm after a replacement. This will be for day-to-day use, family rides and possibly some mini-tours/camping. Not fussy about material, headset size or wheel size (26" or 700c) or dropouts (vertical or semi-horizontal) but needs to fit a few specs:
-Big enough to fit me (6ft with long legs)
-Rigid forks
-Canti/V-brake studs
-Eyelets at the dropouts for mudguards and racks
-Strong enough to lug heavily laden panniers and stable under load
-Not super racey, would prefer a relatively high front end
-Not super pretty, this is going to get locked up round town
I guess the dream ticket would be a Surly LHT or something like that. Let me know what you've got. I'd prefer something not too-spendy, but would stretch the point for exactly the right frame and forks.
