  • Sorry - phrased that badly.
Got the routes, the question should have read...

"do people have any experience riding them....blah blah 35s?"

  • Did Gravel Dash loaded on 33c tyres, doable for sure and very similar routes. Just needed to be careful on the downhills.

  • Ooh, just seen this thread, I'm about 2 hours away in a van as a work thing, we'll be the dickheads building me a last minute kepler and with a pizza oven going at some point.

  • So. Many. Midges.

  • What are the odds you built it and needed a hydraulic sram kit .. got a leaky brake, ooops.

  • No hydro stuff with us, did a bike though.

  • Great weekend, excellent routes and weather was just about ok. And it seems DBAD has spread to Dorset:

  • I noticed that.

  • that pizza was good

  • Shoulda had one of the travel calzones we knocked up Saturday night for the Sunday ride, I'm convinced they should be a thing.

  • Another photo because threads are better with photos. This was a Radavist-style moment:

  • Hannah says thanks for the Rum (I concur).

  • pizza/rum trade very fair. hope you guys had a fun weekend

  • Got my t shirt for BITW 2020. Hope it happens in September. Thread title update?

  • Got tickets as well, I'm not too hopeful

  • Going down to the not-event next weekend, fingers crossed for warm weather and dusty trails

  • what a big not-even that was ;)
looking forward to May and trying out some new routes

  • Re-dredge. Heading down tomorrow evening for another year, looking forward to it. Will be on a sky blue Inbred and my wife on a red Voodoo Hoodoo if anyone spots us!

  • Did anyone from here snag tickets for this year's event?
I'm going, with my brother no less, so just wanted to know what the logistics are like.
Can't make up my mind if I'm going to ride there with a back packing tent, or go all out and turn up with my 15 foot diameter bell tent and glamp it!

  • Not for the next event, but been to a few of them and the vibe is whatever you fancy - people bike packing down there with just a bivvy and a sleeping roll etc., or driving down with a big tent for a bit more luxury. They have decent showers, portaloos, running water.

It's a big field, you'll be fine with the glamping tent. Seems overkill though, plan to either be riding or around the camp fires/bar/food/music area. Would probably decide based on the weather forecast.

  • If anyone is coming this year and fancies joining us for a ride out on the way

  • I'll be there, but we're driving...

  • Any tickets for sale by any chance for this year?
