Or was that the PanCeltic race, that had the organizer posting there? I think some locals were not that pleased with the Trans Alba route.

It comes down the A82 I think, which is the major road to the western Highlands and not pleasant to cycle on at all.

and the a85, if I remember right and that is another awful road.
