I kind of agree. I had G one allround 35's, they are not squirmy like tyres with bigger knobs often are, but there is a hint of that. Fast cornering feels somewhat soft, but the grip is pretty linear and predictable. I did slide out of the road in a corner once, rather spectacularly, when I admittedly did have too much speed, felt the front was loosing grip, locked the rear to save what could be saved and slid out, maintaining the smooth style when I jumped of the bike as it hit the ditch.
i think they are great tires for gravel and not bad at all on tarmac in terms of speed... but they are not 'corner on rails' sorts of tires at all and the idea of an mountain descent on them gives me the fear
