With regards to these early Seamaster 120s there are a serious number of fakes, I would only buy one that had provenance and looked it’s age.

You sure the seconds hand wasn't replaced on that one? 😋

Given to me when I was 15.
I remember it was missing the bezel, and I am unsure about the second hand, it might have been replaced when I got that fixed.

I’ve just spent the last 30 mins looking for the Omega logo on the hesalite crystal on my Speedmaster. No joy with eyesight or using the cam on my phone. Luckily a loup was provided in the box and I was able to see it - when I tilted it the right way under a light. It’s alignment is to 5 o’clock which does not annoy me (and things like that do really annoy me) because no one will ever see it.

Personally I’d replace, I’m a vintage guy but function is paramount. Plus you can get a crystal without the cyclops, yay!
