What pin spanner do I need for the EBB?

https://www.parktool.com/product/pin-spanner-green-spa-1 with 2.9mm ends
https://www.parktool.com/product/pin-spanner-red-spa-2 with 2.3mm ends?

You mean for spinning it? I always got some big tool in any of the holes and tapped it with a mallet. Apply grease on the BB shell from time to time

Yes.

Bought it second-hand recently so still wary of wielding hammers near it. Got a creak that I haven't solved yet which might mean I need to strip the whole bottom end down for a deep clean.
