Just doing a bit of thinking. 360% is not that amazing (rohloff is 526% by comparison). Its the equivalent of a 10-36 cassette. Which would be great for a (heavy) road/round town bike. For an MTB or something to climb hills I reckon you'd need a double up front, which would defeat the purpose of a simplified drivetrain. I reckon these are cheap as its cheaper and lighter to get a similar result on a 1x setup.
Probably just being picky though. You could also just put a bigger cog on the back and spin like crazy on the flats.
Yep. I'm currently planning how I can build a bike around one. Partly posted here so people buy it all before I can buy one.
Also worth noting the rim brake hub can be converted to disc.

Not 100% clear.
