I made a DIY one with two old valves, a 1.5l coke bottle and some duct tape. It worked, but the bottle could only take about 70psi before it started leaking / I started browning my pants, so it struggled with really stubborn tires. I now have the topeak version with is much better and goes 160psi+ no problem.

I made one out of a garden sprayer from Wilko. The over-pressure valve gives out at about 30psi so I bunged it with blu-tack. The rubber tube that comes with orange seal fits perfectly into the sprayer hose so it was super easy to connect to the valve. It's also been pretty useful for washing my bike too.

Couple of questions:
Looking to get some tubeless vales for my 50mm CN carbon wheels - will 60mm valves work, can't find 70-80mm in stock anywhere that aren't a fortune.
anyone make a DIY tubeless inflator? like the one above?
