My coffee plant tends to drop it's leaves over winter, then it flourishes during summer.
However, it doesn't re-grow leaves on the branches once they've fallen off, they appear at the terminus of the branch and the top of the stem.
Now this means it's a bit like a large green balloon, with an empty centre.
Is this the expected behaviour, or can I persuade it to re-grow leaves on it's branches somehow?
Tried pep talk?
