• Don't know how much this is just HR paranoia, but AIUI you shouldn't ask for 'x years of experience', as this is an indirect proxy for age; you should be asking for skills-based competencies. Totally ok to ask for e.g. 'experience of working on Bromptons and of rebuilding MTB shocks'.

  • Interesting, yeah that was just relating to the salary level ie. depends on skills you bring to the job. Totally willing to take someone on who doesn't have loads of training/experience
