Absolutely, if not racing, nothing tastes better than pasta or rice out of a trangia. A tin of tuna, some mushrooms, vegetables, or whatever you fancy to liven it up.
was listening to one of Jesse's Podcasts yesterday touring in remote part of nz. He bought loads of rice, a few kg of broccoli and Tuna. And loads of beer to weigh bikes down. Sounds great!
I'd just take some pasta in a packet and a stove. Nothing like hot food. And some parmigano. And a few bars of dark chocolate. Suplimented with some engery bars.
IF you're not racing why not.
Honestly just take whatever, you'll be fine. And eat huge meals when you can.
