As @ᛠᛙᚺᚣ✻ᛕᛙᚺᛥ says also consider SLRs, if you don't want to pay Hassleblad money for 6x6 there's also the Bronicas ?

If it's mainly for portraits I would definitely opt for a SLR with a bright finder that gives me a nice image that is not reversed.
Also something that offers lenses which I'd find suitable for portraits.
Pentax 67 comes to mind.
