Really what I should be doing is preventing these stupid injuries in the first place. I can't believe elastic has caused me so much drama in all these races. Socks, calf guards, now arm warmers, ffs. Maybe I should just go back to wearing torso covering stuff and using sunscreen.
Yes, that's not going to work (sugar and grains) on an ultra. Fish oil would be easy to pop, though. They used to recommend it for various heart-related things but found it had negligible benefits so they don't any more, but not heard anyone say it was harmful.
