They usually have enough thread length to allow the nut to screw down to 130mm, but that does leave 5mm of rod poking out to snag stuff including you. Getting skewered by a QR isn't nice, so you need to cut off the excess. All seems like a lot of bother when Ultegra ones are designed for the job and readily available.
